It is there that she sees the 27-year old Matthew Andrews, the newscaster who is also her long-term boyfriend. She sits down on her couch as she sees a report about an infamous street racer only known as “The Ice King”. Emily has known Matthew ever since they first met each other through a blind date. They bonded over their love of automobiles, and hit it off almost immediately. But Emily felt that Matthew has recently strayed away from her, often going home very late towards her. Over many years, there has been an urban legend surrounding the country about a person just nicknamed The Saboteur. Many people never knew who they were, where they came from, nor whether or not they were actually a person at all. However, many have found a pattern among The Saboteur's victims: Their whole car was sabotaged from the ground up, they're usually young womens dressed in attractive outfits and shoes, and always end up in pretty violent wrecks. The rumors on whether The Saboteur exists came to be after a newspaper article in 1956 about a fatal car accident that killed a 21 year old girl in a white 1954 Chevrolet Corvette. This caused a lot of scrutiny at the time, since there is not much evidence of the person that actually sabotaged her car. Even her ex-boyfriend admitted that he did not intend on sabotaging her car at all when interviewed. But when outside of her school, Annie would like to drive her '83 Camaro Berlinetta as hard as she possibly could, going through the twisty road on a regular basis. That puts a lot of wear and tear on her Camaro though, and she almost paid the ultimate price for it. One morning, Annie is getting ready for another spirited drive to her school.
